Hoddesdon
A video of the unknown craft surfaced on YouTube and shows a daylight sighting just a few miles from Welwyn Hatfield and Potters Bar, in Hoddesdon.
In the one minute 55 second film a tantalising hovering object is seen pulsating above a TV aerial.
The unidentified flying object seemingly moves in one direction and then the other, dismissing the chances of it being a commercial airliner.
St Albans
"I looked south towards North London I saw a very bright light in the sky which at first thought was an airplane or maybe a satellite but then I realized it wasnt moving it sat there for around 5 minutes not moving. I rubbed my eyes to make sure I was really seeing this and then it moved in an unusual way darting from one point to another as if it were watching something."
Kings Langley
"It was circular shape but hollow in the middle. Lights were around the rim. It glided silently over Kings Langley as we watched it in our garden then it disappeared over the M25 area. It was higher in the sky than two planes we could see nearby, but the object was bigger than the planes."
Watford
"Walking back from a night out with friends and spotted a large orange, glowing light moving slowly overhead which faded after a few minutes. It was a sort of pointed shape. Then another similar light appeared and also slowly faded. A third light then appeared and flew overhead and again disappeared after a few minutes. All followed the same direction, but moving side to side slightly as they passed over."
Welwyn Garden City
Diane Prior took the shot after her husband Andy, 40, raised the alarm.
He was in his back garden with his dog at about 10.45pm when he saw two strange objects over his head.
Mr Prior, of Welwyn Garden City, Herts, said: "They were above the clouds, swinging left to right.
"There was no noise whatsoever. I was absolutely gobsmacked. I have never seen anything like it before."
Andy said they couldn't have been planes, helicopters or Chinese lanterns.
"It wasn't a laser show because you would have seen the light going up."
The sales executive insisted he was as sober as a judge when he spotted the suspected UFOs last Friday night.
"The last time I had a pint was last Wednesday night," said Mr Prior.
He has reported the sighting to the Ministry of Defense.
A spokeswoman said: "The MoD examines reports solely to establish whether UK airspace may have been compromised by hostile or unauthorized military activity."
"Unless there is evidence of a potential threat, there is no attempt to identify the nature of each sighting reported."

Rickmansworth
I was in the garden with my poorly dog when I saw a bright white/yellowish light in the sky above me, darting around the sky very quickly. Spotlight-sized but moving too fast.
